About
“I am loving every track on this EP. Can’t wait to hear more. Good stuff!”
- Larry Tee
“Oceans is amazing! I think it’s gater2010. Dirty and catchy.”
- Remute
“Allies has created a brilliant debut full of well crafted song-writing rarely seen in electronic music, spinning tales of shameless abandon, otherworldly mysteries and the mundane realities of human existence. Brian’s voice is reminiscent of Neil Tennant, subtle, unassuming and full of heart-breaking nuances, which really shines on the beautiful closing track “Temporary Home”. “Ghosts” is simply one of the catchiest electro songs I’ve heard in a long time.”- Marta Jaciubek-McKeever (Fan Death)
“With a pair of beautifully innocent club tracks that serve as the perfect alloy of sweet ’80s synth-pop and new-school electro-jack (Oceans + Springtime), Allies have found a sound that should – and probably will – melt the coldest of hearts…and that remix of Aaliyah’s “Rock the Boat” is a dance-floor devastator!”
- Bruce Tantum, Clubs Editor, TimeOutNY
“The Aaliyah remix is dope!”
- Fabiola Beracasa
“My son just asked me to “turn down that crap”…..please.”
- Dot Luce
ABOUT ALLIES
Allies (aka Brian Suarez) first musical breakthrough was the deeply funky electro-house club track Taboo (as Gater). The international appeal of Gater and Taboo led to support from legendary promoter/artist Larry Tee, Zombie Nation, and Ministry of Sound, a European tour, and TV and film soundtracks.
After the DIY ethos of his Gater years, Allies is a startling departure into a land of lush, layered, and disturbingly infectious musical complexity, a new sound that will be a friend to your days and nights.
